Winter Sports

Van Buren County offers a variety of winter sports to enjoy. You can downhill ski or snowboard at Timber Ridge Ski Resort, located in north-eastern portion of the county. You can cross-country ski at various locations around the county, such as the Van Buren State Park in Covert, the Kal-Haven Trail Sesquicentennial State Park, along the northern portion of the county and also at South Haven Golf Club. If driving snowmobiles along snow covered trails is your passion, you can go to the Van Buren State Park or take a look at the snowmobile trails map of South Western Michigan. Don't let the cold keep you from the fun!!
