Almena Township residents are eligible to recycle certain household hazardous waste materials at the Kalamazoo County Household Hazardous Waste facility. Click on their website below for complete information on what materials are accepted.
Because costs are assessed on a per-load basis and because Almena Township has a limited budget for this service, neighbors are encouraged to pool their recyclable household hazardous waste materials together into one load to take to the facility. This will allow more township residents to take advantage of this opportunity.
Please take note that you will be asked to provide proof that you are indeed a resident of Almena Township when visiting the facility.
